A Short Guide to Poland as an Overseas Property Investment

Poland has everything for the investor to make a successful overseas property investment. Beautiful mountains in the south, cities combining modern and old style architecture together with a beuatiful lake district in the north.

Zakopane in the south of Poland is situated in the mountains and is the perfect base for skiing. An overseas property investment here is perfect for renting to holiday makers for year round holidays. Not only is this area popular in the winter for the snow but it is also a popular summer destination for mountain walking.

Warsaw, the capital of Poland is already an extremely popular location for investors making an overseas property investment. The city has a beautiful old town coupled with a bustling modern business district that is at the centre of Poland's thriving economy. The city has parks, restaurants, theatres and everything you would expect of a big city.

Another Polish city that has plenty of potential for overseas property investment is Poznan. Situated in the west of Poland and only a couple of hours from Berlin by train Poznan is set to become a prominant financial city of the future. The city has an old town square together with big shopping centres that help fuel the cities growing economy and prominance in Poland.

Situated at the top end of Poland is the city of Gdansk. The city has a fantastic old town which attracts tourists all through the year. Cheap flights from other parts of Europe have made Gdansk particuarly popular with tourists and as a location to make an overseas property investment it has plenty of potential.

In the north of Poland is situated Poland's lake district. The area has beautiful lakes and countryside combined with an up and coming university city of Olsztyn. Many Polish people have holiday homes in the area and take their holidays there. In terms of overseas property investment it is a fantastic location in which to own a second home. The city of Olsztyn also has plenty of potential.

In this article it is not possible to talk about all of Poland's cities and only a few have been selected here. However it is clear that Poland's cities have a lot of potential in terms of overseas property investment.
