It’s Never too Early to Start Planning

Yes, it may be the dead of winter, but I am getting ready for spring.  Not only am I getting ready, but our local church is offering free gardening classes for all who want to learn.

No, I’m not inviting the Internet world to come to a local gardening class, but I am suggesting that you look for help in all the right places.  Many local communities and towns offer free gardening classes to encourage their residents to become self reliant and beautify their city.  These local classes are taught at schools, libraries and churches alike and generally feature a local gardening expert with years of experience working in the soil and climate that is unique to your town.

I plan on attending our little gathering to share ideas and to begin thinking about what will go in the ground this spring.  Besides, there’s nothing like the thought of spring during the coldest months of the year!
