SOME GUIDES TO GROWING A HEALTHY LAWN
The following are some guidelines for growing a healthy lawn this summer:
- Use a high quality organic fertilizer two or three times per season.
- Avoid cutting more than one third of the grass blade in any one mowing.
- Use a high quality thatch degrader once during the early spring.
- Leave lawn clippings on the lawn (good nutrients).
- Provide at least 1 inch of water per week.
- Apply water in the early morning hours before midday.
- Twice during the year (first cut in the spring and last cut in the fall) cut the blade to a height of two inches.
These guidelines will help limit weeds and pests in your lawn.
