7 Plants You Can Easily Grow in a Glass Greenhouse

Did you know that in your very own backyard, in the glass greenhouse you put together and love so very much, you have the ability to grow thousands if not hundreds of thousands of different varieties of plants? The number is nearly infinite and all that would stop you from growing each and every one of these plant variations is time, money, and space!
We understand that your glass greenhouse probably has around 320 to 350 square feet of planting space. This means that you have enough space to plant and grow about 10-15 varieties of plants, on average. Since some plants take up less room than others, this figure will rise and fall considerably as to the variations of plants you are growing.

Edibles (1-3)
1)Asparagus – Anherbal perennial that can be grown in a glass greenhouse, asparagus is widely accepted as a top growing choice for local and national farmers. These are vegetables and are delicious and fun to grow!
2) Lettuce – Be it Romaine or Iceberg, a head of lettuce is a fine vegetable to grow in any greenhouse, especially a glass one where the ambient light creates a splendid growing spot for the heads.
3) Onion – One of the most popular tubers to grow, the onion is the one plant that can be seen all over the United States and world for that matter in glass greenhouses.
Flowering Plants (4-5)
4) Rose – Considered a staple for most flowering, glass greenhouse adornments, the rose is a favorite for growers all over the country and world.
5) Orchids–There are over 25,000 species of these beautiful, enchanting, flowering plants. This is not counting the 100,000 or more documented hybrids as well!
Herbs (6-7)
6) Dill–What is it about fresh dill that makes almost all prepared dishes just that much better? Most greenhouse growers have an ample supply of herbs growing year-round and the dill is one of the most popular.
7) Rosemary – An evergreen shrub that is grown for its smooth and exotic flavoring, the Rosemary herb is one that needs very little introduction!
