Special Greenhouses For Separate Plants.

Saturday, September 17th, 2011

In this article we will speak about special greenhouses, arranged for individual plant species, such as orchid, special greenhouses for the culture of roses for cutting, etc.

In the orchid greenhouses for most orchids it is needed a lot of light, freshness and air humidity.

In greenhouses for the culture of roses for cutting the special soils of sod land are arranged. Roses in this case are put in the ground without the pots.

Finally, in the greenhouses that are used for winter maintenance of plants such as citrus, pine, evergreen and some others to avoid the heat of direct sunlight, the ceiling is made dark, and the plants are lighted by the side through vertical glass wall facing to north, while glazing from both sides – facing east and west.

Interior equipment of greenhouses depends on their purpose (breeding, culture, or forcing the plants), on the method of use of the area, which, in turn, is associated with the method of culture.

In the modern types of greenhouses there are two basic ways to use the area:

1. Rack way – when the culture is grown on special shelves or racks, as, for example, it can be in lean-and gable greenhouses.

Shelving, hills and hanging racks are used to adjust cultivated plants, to place boxes and bowls with sowing and cuttings, etc.

Depending on the width of the greenhouse, along its length two racks with a single pass down the middle or three shelves with two passes between them or four-five shelves are arranged.

Modern greenhouses have collapsible racks. Heating pipes are located closer to the shelves, and only part of the pipes is placed atop to prevent freezing of windows in winter.

Shelves are a flooring on which you install the pots with plants. On the shelves you pour a layer of sand about 3 cm thick, which is watered to always maintain moisture content under the pots with plants mounted on the racks. In cases when the racks are used for planting cuttings, a thin layer of soil is poured under the sand.

For many people gardening has become a hobby or even a serious occupation. And a number of them cannot do without greenhouse. There are various types of greenhouses, even such as EarthCare greenhouses. But what is very convenient is that one can purchase a greenhouse on this greenhouses for sale site without leaving one’s home.

Hangar Greenhouses And Their Application.

Friday, September 16th, 2011

The most widespread in Germany, the Netherlands and the U.S. are hangar greenhouses of reinforced concrete structure. The length of these greenhouses is up to 150 m, width 30 m and height is 9 m. In the hangar greenhouse the mounted and mechanical treatment of the soil is possible.

Hangar greenhouses – are a type of greenhouses for large farms. In the hangar greenhouses you may carry a maximum mechanization of production. They are most effective with respect to light regime. Plants enjoy the huge influx of light; the distance of plants from the greenhouse roof and side walls does not preclude at all.

Hangar greenhouses are suitable for the culture of gillyflowers, long-term culture of roses, etc.. The size of hangar greenhouses in Germany reaches 400 – 1 000 sq. km. m, in the Netherlands – 1500 – 2000 square meters, and in some cases – 0.5 hectare or more.

According to the purpose the greenhouses are also divided into three main types: 1) exploration greenhouses used for vegetative and generative reproduction, 2) race greenhouses forcing (the forced culture of plants), 3) for the cultivation of plants.

In practice, people often arrange greenhouses with multiple compartments that maintain different temperatures, depending on the requirements of a particular culture.

The simplest form of exploration greenhouses is an earthen or manure green house, dropped to the ground at a depth of 1 m, with or without a recess.

This greenhouse has a glass of the garden frame. Warming stuff is manure, garbage. Stuffing of greenhouses and preparing the soil for sowing seeds or rooting cuttings in the earth greenhouse is done in the same way as in the seedbed, from which this greenhouse is not much different.

Another example of more sophisticated exploration greenhouses are small, low greenhouses, in which on the one side along the length of the greenhouse there is the passage, and on the other side an exploration box is arranged, under which heating (hog or pipes) runs.

For lots of people gardening is a hobby or even a serious work. And a number of them use greenhouses. There are different types of greenhouses, even such as EarthCare greenhouses. But what is very comfortable is that one can purchase a greenhouse on this greenhouses for sale site while staying at one’s home.
